GeneXus is a tool for designing and testing UI elements of web apps on native browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Internet Explorer). You can use the native UI test object to create and run test cases using native selenium controls.

GXtest recorder is a native Chrome extension that allows developers to record and playback test case commands over GeneXus applications. It can record both actions of the UI object and the use of controls (variables/attributes).

This tool records different web apps, different browsers, and versions of the browser (for example, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.).

When recording, you will record a step-by-step execution of the app. When playback is enabled, it will display all steps to help you understand what happened.

The playback feature allows you to have easy access to the execution steps, and it will play through them. In case of mistakes, it will display all the steps with the correct input/output values.

You can record your test case as video and audio. You can select multiple objects to record.

Record both actions of the UI object (click, click, enter, etc.) and use of controls (variables/attributes).
